K & S Pipe Contractors LLP have been providing services and innovative engineering solutions to the gas industry for over 25 years.

As well as serving the established gas networks, we also supply services to independent

gas transporters, GIRs registered companies, private gas networks, meter asset managers and we build and carry out works downstream of the meter on gas outlet supplies.

The company based in the South East of England but working nationally, can provide

pipe welding and fabrication services from a simple screwed pipe system to complex

large diameter welded inlet gas supplies, gas pipe lines, meter installations and

downstream pipe work.

PROACTIVE PIPE SOLUTIONS

As an established specialist contractor K&S supply the staff and operations teams to carry out planned gas riser and lateral inspection and replacement services required by our clients. This work can involve the initial site survey where the condition and location of the existing supply is assessed and then if required a replacement proposal can be put forward to ensure that a cost effective solution is found.

Once a design has been agreed our team can liaise with all the interested parties then plan and carry out the works to completion. Depending upon design, these works can be carried out using screwed, welded steel or polyethylene (PE) riser and lateral systems.

At K&S we understand the importance of working in a safe, timely and cost effective manner to restore gas supplies once they have been cut off in emergency situations. With our experienced team we have the skills and resources to be on site without delay to fully assess the situation and to ensure that the gas supply can be restored in a timely manner.

Working with our clients, the building owners and all other interested parties including the gas users and vulnerable customers we will ensure that the works are carried efficiently in order to restore the supply and ensure that the disruption and inconvenience caused to the gas users is kept to the minimum level.

K&S can provide gas pipe lines, screwed and welded steel riser and lateral systems, meter manifolds and large diameter supplies and terminations to conform to present gas industry and building standards. Through the work we have carried out we are familiar with the standards that are expected of us when working on our clients sites and have always carried out our operations in a manner to enhance our client’s reputations with a first class service and product.

Since the deregulation of the industry and through our knowledge and experience we have become a preferred supplier for many of the independent gas network owners and GIRs registered infrastructure providers as well as continuing to serve our established client base.

K&S provide a variety of services to the gas industry and pride ourselves upon our ability to find solutions and in being a supplier that is not scared of a challenge. Over the years we have supplied numerous solutions and faced many challenges successfully.
